Index Group definition

Index Group means the NASDAQ Bank Index.
Index Group has the meaning set forth in Section 9.01(i).
Index Group means the 12 bank holding companies listed below, the common stocks of all of which shall be publicly traded and as to which there shall not have been, since the Starting Date and before the Determination Date, any public announcement of a proposal for such company to be acquired or for such company to acquire another company or companies in transactions with a value exceeding 25% of the acquiror's market capitalization. In the event that any such company or companies are removed from the Index Group, the weights (which have been determined based upon the number of shares of outstanding common stock) shall be redistributed proportionately for purposes of determining the Index Price. The 12 bank holding companies and the weights attributed to them are as follows:

More Definitions of Index Group

Index Group means the 25 financial institution holding companies listed on Exhibit C attached hereto, the common stock of all of which shall be publicly traded and as to which there shall not have been a publicly announced proposal at any time during the period beginning on the date of the Agreement and ending on the valuation date for any such company to be acquired. In the event that the common stock of any such company ceases to be publicly traded or a proposal to acquire any such company is announced at any time during the period beginning on the date of this Agreement and ending on the valuation date, such company will be removed from the Index Group, and the weights attributed to the remaining companies will be adjusted proportionately for purposes of determining the Final Index Price and the Initial Index Price. The 25 financial institution holding companies and the weights attributed to them are listed on Exhibit C.
Index Group means the Nasdaq Bank Index or, if such index is not available, such substitute or similar index as substantially replicates the Nasdaq Bank Index.
Index Group means all of those companies listed on Exhibit 8.01 hereto the common stock of which is publicly traded and as to which there is no pending publicly announced proposal at any time during the Calculation Period for such company to acquire another company or companies in transactions with a value exceeding 10% of the acquirer’s market capitalization or for such company to be acquired.
Index Group means the NASDAQ Bank Index (Symbol: BANK).
Index Group shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.1(j).
Index Group means the 20 bank holding companies listed below, the common stocks of all of which shall be publicly traded and as to which there shall not have been, since the Starting Date and before the Determination Date, any public announcement of a proposal for such company to be acquired or for such company to acquire another company or companies in transactions with a value exceeding 25% of the acquiror's market capitalization. In the event that any such company or companies are removed from the Index Group, the weights (which have been determined based upon the number of outstanding shares of common stock) will be redistributed proportionately for purposes of determining the Index Price.
