Hiring cycle means the period of time during which the district reviews the staffing needs of the district and makes recommendations to fill vacant positions, if any. The district engages in one hiring cycle each calendar year. This hiring cycle begins March 10 or with the first posting of positions for the subsequent school year, whichever occurs first, and shall continue through August 31 or the first day of school for students, whichever occurs later.
