An employee who is a member of the National Guard, or who is a commissioned reserve officer or reserve enlisted personnel in the United States military service, shall be granted a leave of absence from his/her respective duties, without loss of pay, time or efficiency rating, for all days s/he is engaged in active duty or training ordered under the provisions of the United States military.
Recipients must obtain permission from their DHS FAO prior to using the DHS seal(s), logos, crests or reproductions of flags or likenesses of DHS agency officials, including use of the United States Coast Guard seal, logo, crests or reproductions of flags or likenesses of Coast Guard officials.
