  • The Food Grain should at all times be within the limits prescribed under Grain Acceptance Specifications in Schedule E.

  • In the event of loss of the Food Grain, the Concessionaire shall make good the loss.

  • All the activities related to unloading of Food Grain, including but not limited to emptying of Food Grain load, unloading of bags, debagging and emptying of bags, stacking of empty bags, conveying of emptied load onto {Pre-Storage Silos / Receiving Silos} and further for Pre-Storage Treatment and storage in Long Term Silos shall be the sole responsibility of the Concessionaire and shall be carried by the Concessionaire at its own cost.

Food Grain means and include Wheat, Paddy, Rice, Pulses, Maize, or any other food grains stored/ handled/ transported on behalf of CWC’ depositors; “Commodity” shall mean & include (RM may include the name of commodities to be considered while floating the tender) like fertilizer, cement, crude oil, coal, copper or iron ore, rough diamonds, and agricultural, industrial products such as wheat, coffee beans or cotton; “Godown/ Warehouse” shall mean and include depots, godowns, warehouse already belonging to or under occupation of the Corporation or may hereafter be constructed or acquired by it at any time and shall also mean and include pen platform/plinths built or constructed for storage of commodities inside or outside the premises; “Local Content” means the amount of value added in India which shall, unless otherwise prescribed by the Nodal Ministry, be the total value of the item procured (excluding net domestic indirect taxes) minus the value of imported content in the item (including all customs duties) as a proportion of the total value, in percent; “Margin of Purchase Preference under MII” means the maximum extent to which the price quoted by a Class-I local supplier may be above the L1 for the purpose of purchase preference. The margin of purchase preference shall be 20%, subject to price match quoted by L1 bidder. “Margin of Purchase Preference under MSE” means the maximum extent to which the price quoted by a MSE Bidder may be above the L1 for the purpose of purchase preference.
