Face to Face Interpreting definition

Face to Face Interpreting means the provision of an Interpreter to attend a face to face appointment between the Client and the service user at a Client’s venue. The Interpreter will interpret on behalf of the Requester to ensure understanding between parties. This would include interpretation of verbal and non-verbal languages, including but not limited to, British Sign Language and Deaf Blind Manual services. These services are provided by Word360 approved Sub-contractors.

  • Interpreting means the process of translating communication between hearing individuals, who communicate in spoken language, and individuals who communicate in sign language. Interpreters must be able to listen to an individual’s words, inflections, and intent and simultaneously render them into sign language using the mode of communication preferred by the Customer. The Interpreter must also be able to comprehend the signs, inflections, and intent of the Customer and speak them in articulate, appropriate English.

  • Face-to-face means an encounter between Client and provider where they are both physically present.

  • Interpretation means an addendum to a Reliability Standard, developed in accordance with the NERC Standard Processes Manual and approved by the Applicable Governmental Authority(ies), that provides additional clarity about one or more Requirements in the Reliability Standard.

  • Reference Tariff means an access charge (including any system premium) applicable to a specified Reference Train Service over a specified part of the Infrastructure as specified in QR Network’s Access Undertaking;

  • Terms of Reference (TORs) means the Terms of Reference that explains the objectives, scope of work, activities, and tasks to be performed, respective responsibilities of the Procuring Entity and the Consultant, and expected results and deliverables of the assignment.
