Extra good time definition

Extra good time means a credit to a sentence as authorized by 18 U.S.C. 4162 for performing exceptionally meri- torious service or for performing duties of outstanding importance in an insti- tution or for employment in a Federal Prison Industry or Camp. ‘‘Extra Good Time’’ thus includes Meritorious Good Time, Work/Study Release Good Time, Community Corrections Center Good Time, Industrial Good Time, Camp or Farm Good Time, and Lump Sum Awards. Extra good time and seniority are inseparable with the exception of lump sum awards for which no senior- ity is earned. 28 CFR Ch. V (7–1–12 Edition)
Extra good time means credit for diligence and is earned according to the conditions and procedures set forth in ss. DOC 302.22, 302.26, and 302.33.

Examples of Extra good time in a sentence

  • Extra good time for an inmate in work or study release programs is awarded automatically, beginning on the date the inmate is assigned to the program and continuing without fur- ther approval as long as the inmate is participating in the program, unless the award is disallowed.

  • Extra good time for an inmate em- ployed in Federal Prison Industries, Inc., is automatically awarded, begin- ning on the first day of such employ- ment, and continuing as long as the in- mate is employed by Federal Prison In- dustries, unless the award is dis- allowed.

  • Extra good time for an inmate in a Federal or contract Community Cor- rections Center is awarded automati- cally, beginning on arrival at the facil- ity and continuing as long as the in- mate is confined at the Center, unless the award is disallowed.

  • Extra good time is not automati- cally discontinued while an inmate is hospitalized, on furlough, out of the in- stitution on a writ of habeas corpus, or removed under the Interstate Agree- ment on Detainers.

  • Extra good time may be terminated or disallowed dur- ing such absences if the Warden or the Discipline Hearing Officer finds that the inmate’s behavior warrants such action.

  • Extra good time earned by an in- mate in a District of Columbia Depart- ment of Corrections facility is treated the same as if earned in a Bureau of Prisons institution, upon transfer to a Bureau institution.

  • Extra good time earned in Federal Prison Indus- tries in a military or Coast Guard in- stallation is treated the same as if earned in Federal Prison Industries in the Bureau of Prisons.

  • Extra good time may continue during a com- mitment for examination of hos- pitalization and treatment under 18 U.S.C. 4245, as amended effective Octo- ber 12, 1984.

  • Extra good time shall be credited beginning on the date following the inmate’s date of arrival at the institution.

  • Record Time shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals.

  • Up time means the time period when specified services with specified technical and service standards are available to user(s)

  • Lead Time means the quoted timeframe calculated between the date of receipt of the PO by Supplier and the Delivery Date.

  • Central Clock Time or "CCT" means Central Daylight Time when Daylight Savings Time is in effect and Central Standard Time when Daylight Savings Time is not in effect.

  • night time means any period of not less than seven hours, as defined by national law, and which must include, in any case, the period between midnight and 5.00.

  • Down time means the time period when specified services with specified technical and service standards are not available to user(s).

  • Order Cut-Off Time means 10:00 a.m., New York time, on a Business Day.

  • Real-time means the actual time in which an event takes place, with the reporting on or the recording of the event simultaneous with its occurrence.

  • Minimum Run Time For all generating units that are not combined cycle units, “Minimum Run Time” shall mean the minimum number of hours a unit must run, in real-time operations, from the time after generator breaker closure, which is typically indicated by telemetered or aggregated State Estimator megawatts greater than zero, to the time of generator breaker opening, as measured by PJM's State Estimator. For combined cycle units, “Minimum Run Time” shall mean the time period after the first combustion turbine generator breaker closure, which is typically indicated by telemetered or aggregated State Estimator megawatts greater than zero, and the last generator breaker opening as measured by PJM’s State Estimator.

  • Prime Time in the Emergency Department is defined as the months of June, July and August and December.

  • Books Closure Date means the date and time to be determined by the Manager on which the register of Unitholders will be closed for the purpose of determining the entitlements of Unitholders to a Distribution;

  • Response Time means the difference in time between the change of the component to be measured at the reference point and a system response of 90 per cent of the final reading (t90) with the sampling probe being defined as the reference point, whereby the change of the measured component is at least 60 per cent full scale (FS) and takes place in less than 0.1 second. The system response time consists of the delay time to the system and of the rise time of the system.

  • Specified Time means a time determined in accordance with Schedule 10 (Timetables).

  • Subscription Cut-Off Time means 5.00 p.m. Dublin time on the Business Day immediately preceding the relevant Dealing Day or such point as the Directors may determine in exceptional circumstances;

  • Delivery Time means the time for Delivery stated in the Purchase Order.

  • Real-time System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Office of the Interconnection’s dispatch of the PJM Interchange Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Settlement Time means any time within two Business Days immediately following the Creation Order Date or the Redemption Order Date, as applicable.

  • Near Real Time means that Qwest's OSS electronically receives a transaction from CLEC, automatically processes that transaction, returns the response to that transaction to CLEC in an automatic event driven manner (without manual intervention) via the interface for the OSS function in question. Except for the time it takes to send and receive the transaction between Qwest's and CLEC's OSS application, the processing time for Qwest's representatives should be the same as the processing time for CLEC's representatives. Current benchmarks using TCIF 98-006 averages between two (2) and four (4) seconds for the connection and an average transaction transmittal. The specific agreed metrics for Near Real Time transaction processing will be contained in the Performance Indicator Definitions (PIDs), where applicable. "Network Element" is a facility or equipment used in the provision of Telecommunications Service. It also includes features, functions, and capabilities that are provided by means of such facility or equipment, including subscriber numbers, databases, signaling systems, and information sufficient for Billing and collection or used in the transmission, routing, or other provision of a Telecommunications Service.

  • Rise time means the difference in time between the 10 per cent and 90 per cent response of the final reading (t90 – t10).

  • Part-time means regularly working less than the number of full time hours set by the Employer as a regular work day for Employees in an Eligible Class of Employees in the Policy.

  • Proposal Due Date and Time means the date and time specified in the Request for Proposal as the deadline for submitting Proposals.

  • Real-time Energy Market means the purchase or sale of energy and payment of Transmission Congestion Charges for quantity deviations from the Day-ahead Energy Market in the Operating Day.
