Earnings Growth Rate definition

Earnings Growth Rate means the growth of EPS during the Incentive Period. For example, if EPS in the Base Year is $6.00 and EPS for the third calendar year of the Incentive Period is $7.80, then the Earnings Growth Rate is 30 percent. For purposes of this Plan, the Earnings Growth Rate shall be rounded to the nearest one-tenth of one percent. In the event of a stock dividend or stock split during the Incentive Period, Earnings Growth Rate shall be restated to take into account the effect of such stock dividend or stock split.
