Director of Gas Safety definition

Director of Gas Safety means the Director of Gas Safety under the Gas Act;
Director of Gas Safety means the Director of Gas Safety under the Gas Act; “distribution system” has the meaning given to that term under the Gas Act; “gas” has the meaning given to that term in the Gas Act;

  • Improper use of informationA person who is, or has been, Director of Gas Safety or an employee, agent or contractor of the Office, must not make improper use of any information acquired only in the course of his or her duties to obtain directly or indirectly any pecuniary or other advantage for himself or herself or for any other person.Penalty: 50 penalty units.136.

  • If the Director of Gas Safety has a direct or indirect pecuniary interest in a matter being considered, or about to be considered, by the Office, he or she must, as soon as practicable after the relevant facts come to his or her knowledge, disclose the nature of the interest to the Minister.

  • The Licensee must comply with all applicable laws in relation to the construction of the authorised distribution systems and any proposal accepted by the Director of Gas Safety applicable to the construction of the authorised distribution systems.

  • National Ambient Air Quality Standards or “NAAQS” means national ambient air quality standards that are promulgated pursuant to Section 109 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7409.

  • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

  • Natural Resource or “Natural Resources” shall mean land, fish, wildlife, biota, air, water, ground water, drinking water supplies, and other such resources, belonging to, managed by, held in trust by, appertaining to, or otherwise controlled by the United States or the State.

  • Energy Resource means a generating facility that is not a Capacity Resource.

  • Eligible Renewable Energy Resource or “ERR” has the meaning set forth in California Public Utilities Code Section 399.12 and California Public Resources Code Section 25741, as either code provision is amended or supplemented from time to time.

  • Renewable energy resources means resources as defined

  • Gas Transporter means the licensed operator of the transportation network through which gas is transported to you;

  • Transportation network company means a company or organization facilitating and/or providing transportation services using a computer or digital application or platform to connect or match passengers with drivers for compensation or a fee.

  • New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.

  • International air transportation means transportation by air between a place in the United States and a place outside the United States or between two places both of which are outside the United States.

  • Electric power supplier means a person or entity that is duly

  • Solid Waste Management Unit , or “SWMU” means any discernible unit at which solid wastes have been placed at any time, irrespective of whether the unit was intended for the management of solid or hazardous wastes. Such units include any area at a facility at which solid wastes have been routinely or systematically released.

  • Radiopharmaceutical quality assurance means, but is not limited to, the performance of appropriate chemical, biological, and physical tests on potential radiopharmaceuticals and the interpretation of the resulting data to determine their suitability for use in humans and animals, including internal test assessment, authentication of product history, and the keeping of proper records.
