Demonstration Phase means that period of time identified in Appendix A, following optimization, and at the conclusion of which, Defendant will propose a 30- Day Rolling Average Emission Limit for NOx that is achievable through the

Demonstration Phase. The period during which Allegheny Energy Supply commences and concludes tests demonstrating that the Generation Facilities have successfully completed the following milestones: (i) the first firing of the Generation Facilities; (ii) the closing of the breakers to backfeed station; (iii) a 48-hour continuous run of the Generation Facilities; and (iv) a one-day performance test of each of the turbines.
Demonstration Phase means the first phase of the joint activities of the Parties to select and develop a suitable Conversion Process, and to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of constructing and operating a Conversion Facility.

  • Phase II Trial means a clinical trial of a Licensed Product on patients, including possibly pharmacokinetic and dose ranging studies, the principal purposes of which are to make a preliminary determination that such Licensed Product is safe for its intended use and to obtain sufficient information about such Licensed Product’s efficacy to permit the design of further clinical trials, and generally consistent with 21 CFR §312.21(b), or its successor regulation, or the equivalent in any foreign country.

  • Temporary clean coal technology demonstration project means a clean coal technology demonstration project that is operated for a period of five years or less and that complies with the SIP and other requirements necessary to attain and maintain the national ambient air quality standards during the project and after the project is terminated.

  • Design flow means the average annual flow or average daily flow specified in an approved facilities plan or approved plans and specifications, the flow specified in a WPDES permit, or the flow required to meet performance standards.

  • Pre-Construction Phase Services means the participation, documentation and execution of Contractor’s Pre-Construction Phase deliverables as required by this Agreement and further defined in Article 5.

  • Phase III Trial means a Clinical Trial of an investigational product in subjects that incorporates accepted endpoints for confirmation of statistical significance of efficacy and safety with the aim to generate data and results that can be submitted to obtain Regulatory Approval as described in 21 C.F.R. 312.21(c), or a comparable Clinical Trial prescribed by the relevant Regulatory Authority in a country other than the United States.
