Contract County definition

Contract County means a local unit of government that has entered into an agreement with DEQ under OAR 340- 071-0120 to perform duties of DEQ under this division.
Contract County means a county that has contracted with the department under subdivision (a)(10); and

  • In consideration of the Work performed by Contractor, and subject to conditions contained in this Contract, County will pay an amount not to exceed the Contract Amount to Contractor in accordance with the Contract Documents.

  • In addition to any other remedies or rights it may have by law and those set forth in this Contract, County has the right to terminate this Contract without penalty immediately with cause or after 30 days’ written notice without cause, unless otherwise specified.

  • If County exercises the right to reduce the consideration specified in this Contract, County shall give Contractor notice of the amount of any off-set and the reason for the deduction.

  • If Contractor is in breach, then in addition to the remedies afforded elsewhere in this Contract, County shall be entitled to recover any and all damages suffered as the result of Contractor's breach of this Contract, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental and consequential damages.

  • Prior to the award of Contract, County reserves the right to consider the responsibility of the Bidder.

  • If any action is taken by any state agency, Federal department or any other agency or instrumentality to suspend, decrease, or terminate its fiscal obligations under, or in connection with, this Contract, County may amend, suspend, decrease, or terminate its obligations under, or in connection with, this Contract.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of the Contract, County may at any time and without cause terminate in whole or in part, upon not less than thirty (30) days written notice to the Contractor.

  • Prior to the award of Contract, County may require satisfactory evidence to show that the Bidder is fully prepared in every way to perform the Contract timely and that he has been regularly engaged in such business.

  • In consideration of the Work performed by Contractor, and subject to conditions contained in this Contract, County will pay the Contract Amount to Contractor in accordance with the Contract Documents and mutually agreed upon project- specific documents.

Related to Contract County

  • Host county means the county within the human service zone in which the human service zone administrative office is located and in which the human service zone team members are employed.

  • Eligible county means a county with a population of 1,500,000 or more persons that adopts or has adopted a charter under 1966 PA 293, MCL 45.501 to 45.521, and that intends to impose the tax authorized by this act for purposes related to a stadium as defined under subdivision (i)(i).

  • Rural county means a county of the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth class.

  • Special service district means the same as that term is defined in Section 17D-1-102.

  • Relevant Country means, as determined by the Calculation Agent, each of:

  • Municipal Service Area means the geographical area within the legal boundaries of the Municipality where the Company has been granted rights hereunder in connection with, among other matters, Natural Gas Distribution Service, as altered from time to time;

  • Host Country means, with respect to an Insured Person, the country or territory the Insured Person is visiting or in which the Insured Person is living, which is not the Insured Person’s Home Country.

  • County Assessor means the Greenville County Assessor, or the person holding any successor office of the County.

  • Medical assessment means an assessment of a patient’s medical condition secured by our Assistance Company working in conjunction with the Medical Evacuation Provider’s medical director and in collaboration with the attending physician. The Assistance Company in collaboration with the Medical Evacuation Provider, will utilize the assessment to determine at its sole discretion whether a Plan Holder is fit to fly; the most appropriate means to provide medical evacuation; the medical personnel who will be accompanying the patient on the transport; and to confirm the medical facility closest to one’s home can meet their medical needs. If the patient’s medical facility of choice is unable to provide the high level of medical care required by the patient, arrangements will be made to transport the patient to the appropriate medical facility closest to their home, or closest to patient's preferred medical facility in the US when possible.

  • Entry Point means a location in the water system after treatment or chemical addition, if any, but prior to the distribution system. A sample collected in the distribution system may be con- sidered an entry point sample if the department has determined it is more representative of the water sources.

  • Wellhead protection area means the surface and subsurface area surrounding a water well or well field that supplies a public water system through which contaminants are reasonably likely to migrate toward the water well or well field.

  • Energy Settlement Area means the bus or distribution of busses that represents the physical location of Network Load and by which the obligations of the Network Customer to PJM are settled. Energy Storage Resource:

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • County Council means Greenville County Council, the governing body of the County.

  • District Court means the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

  • County indigent transcript means a transcript that is paid for from county funds and is for the use on behalf of a litigant who has been declared indigent by a court.

  • Circuit means an analogue voice-grade or digital 64 Kbps (DS-0) channel.

  • SITC means the Standard International Trade Classification, Revision 3 (SITC, Rev. 3), published by the United Nations in Statistical Papers, Series M, No. 34/Rev. 3 (1986);

  • Compact commissioner means: the voting representative of each compacting state appointed pursuant to Article VIII of this compact.
