California Register of Historical Resources definition

California Register of Historical Resources. (California Register) means the California Register designed for use by state and local agencies, private groups, and citizens to identify, evaluate, register, and protect California's historical resources. The procedures of criteria for the California Register appear in California Code of Regulations, California Register of Historical Resources (Title 14, Division 3, Chapter 11.5).
California Register of Historical Resources means the register defined in California Public Resources Code Section 5024.1 and in the California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 11.5, Section 4850 et seq., as it may be amended.
California Register of Historical Resources means the authoritative guide in California to be used by state and local agencies, private groups and citizens to identify the state’s historical resources and to indicate what properties are to be protected, to the extent prudent and feasible, from substantial change.
