Black, African American, Hispanic and Latino Employment Rate definition

Black, African American, Hispanic and Latino Employment Rate means with respect to any Fiscal Year of the Company as reported under Code #FN-AC-330a.1 in the SASB Aligned Report, the ratio (stated as a percentage) of (i) the aggregate number of employees of the Company and its Subsidiaries in the United States who are Black, African American, Hispanic or Latino as of the first day of the next succeeding Fiscal Year (the sum of the percentages set forth in the two columns in the SASB Aligned Report referring toBlack or African American’ employees and ‘Hispanic or Latino’ employees) to (ii) the aggregate number of employees of the Company and its Subsidiaries in the United States as of the first day of the next succeeding Fiscal Year.

  • African American means a person having origins in any of the original peoples of Africa and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part.

  • Hispanic American means a person having origins in any of the Spanish-speaking peoples of Mexico, South or Central America, or the Caribbean Islands or other Spanish or Portuguese cultures and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part.

  • Employment Business means as per the Employment Agencies Xxx 0000 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, an Employment Business is a business that offers contracts of employment to temporary workers, whose services are then temporarily offered on secondment to Framework Public Bodies.

  • Metropolitan planning organization means the same as that term is defined in Section 72-1-208.5.

  • employment zone means an area within Great Britain designated for the purposes of section 60 of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 and an “employment zone programme” means a programme established for such an area or areas designed to assist claimants for a jobseeker’s allowance to obtain sustainable employment;

  • Trade association means an entity recognized by the State in which the entity is doing business as a trade association and shall not include an organization that is formed for the purposes of providing insurance. “Transaction cutoff date” for weekly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday of each week and for monthly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday after the first Sunday of the month.

  • Asian American means a person having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, or the Pacific Islands, including but not limited to Japan, China, Vietnam, Samoa, Laos, Cambodia, Taiwan, Northern Mariana Islands, the Philippines, a U.S. territory of the Pacific, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part.

  • Community Developmental Disability Program (CDDP means an entity that is responsible for planning and delivery of services for individuals with developmental disabilities in a specific geographic service area of the state operated by or under a contract with the Division or a local mental health authority.

  • Public Works Director means the director of public works, or his or her designee.

  • Employment Practices Wrongful Act means any actual or alleged:

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.

  • Foreign nonprofit corporation means an entity:

  • American Indian means those persons for whom services may be provided as an Indian pursuant to 25 USC 1603(13), 1603(28), or 1679(a), or 42 CFR § 136.12.

  • Next Michigan development corporation means that term as defined in section 3 of the next Michigan development act, 2010 PA 275, MCL 125.2953.

  • Internationally active insurance group means an insurance holding company system:

  • Member of the University Community means students, faculty, or staff, or other persons affiliated with the University.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) means a business concern certified as a DVBE by the Office of Small Business Certification and Resources, Department of General Services.

  • Business Centre means each of the places so specified in the relevant Pricing Supplement.

  • Rape Crisis Center means an office, institution, or center offering assistance to victims of sexual offenses through crisis intervention, medical and legal information, and follow-up counseling.

  • Public employee means an individual holding a position by appointment or employment in the government of this state, in the government of 1 or more of the political subdivisions of this state, in the public school service, in a public or special district, in the service of an authority, commission, or board, or in any other branch of the public service, subject to the following exceptions:
