Alternative Provision Academy definition

Alternative Provision Academy means an Academy or a Free School which meets the requirements set out in section 1C(1) of the Academies Act 2010.
Alternative Provision Academy means an Academy which meets the requirements set out in section 1C of the Academies Xxx 0000 or where the context so permits an Alternative Provision Free School; the “Articles” means the Articles of Association of the Company for the time being in force;
Alternative Provision Academy means the educational institution referred to in Article 4 and established by WAC;

Examples of Alternative Provision Academy in a sentence

  • Any such notice shall be given within 21 days after (a) the Expert’s determination shall have been given to the parties or (b), if later, the Secretary of State shall have given written notice of his refusal to provide sufficient additional funding for the Alternative Provision Academy to cover the Shortfall.

  • The curriculum provided by the Alternative Provision Academy to pupils up to the age of 16 shall be broad and balanced.

  • The Company will establish and maintain, and carry on or provide for the carrying on of the Alternative Provision Academy in accordance with the Master Agreement and this Agreement.

  • If the Expert determines that the cost of running the Alternative Provision Academy during the Critical Year would cause the Company, on the basis of the Indicative Funding and All Other Resources, to become insolvent, and the Secretary of State shall not have agreed to provide sufficient additional funding to cover the Shortfall, then the Company shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement, by notice expiring on 31 August prior to the Critical Year.

  • The Secretary of State agrees to pay GAG and EAG to the Company in relation to the Alternative Provision Academy in accordance with the Master Agreement.

  • Both parties undertake to use their best endeavours to agree whether or not the cost of running the Alternative Provision Academy during the Critical Year would cause the Company, on the basis of the Indicative Funding and All Other Resources, to become insolvent.

  • The requirements for the admission of pupils to the Alternative Provision Academy are set out at Annex 1.

  • The option hereby granted shall be exercisable (by notice in writing by or on behalf of the Secretary of State) on the termination of this Agreement for whatever cause or in circumstances where the Company is unable to use all or part of the Land as the permanent site of the Alternative Provision Academy in accordance with clauses 10H or 10K.

  • Both parties recognise that they will need to engage in a constructive dialogue at the time about how best to provide education for the pupils at the Alternative Provision Academy and undertake to use their best endeavours to agree a practical solution to the problem.

Related to Alternative Provision Academy

  • Alternative program means a non-disciplinary monitoring or practice remediation process approved by a physical therapy licensing board. This includes, but is not limited to, substance abuse issues.

  • Arrangement Provisions means Part 9, Division 5 of the BCBCA;

  • Share Termination Alternative If applicable, Dealer shall deliver to Counterparty the Share Termination Delivery Property on, or within a commercially reasonable period of time after, the date when the relevant Payment Obligation would otherwise be due pursuant to Section 12.7 or 12.9 of the Equity Definitions or Section 6(d)(ii) and 6(e) of the Agreement, as applicable, in satisfaction of such Payment Obligation in the manner reasonably requested by Counterparty free of payment. Share Termination Delivery Property: A number of Share Termination Delivery Units, as calculated by the Calculation Agent, equal to the Payment Obligation divided by the Share Termination Unit Price. The Calculation Agent shall adjust the Share Termination Delivery Property by replacing any fractional portion of a security therein with an amount of cash equal to the value of such fractional security based on the values used to calculate the Share Termination Unit Price.

  • Alternative Acquisition Agreement shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.5(c).

  • Alternative Compliance Payment or "ACP" means a payment of a certain dollar amount per megawatt hour, which a Retail Electricity Supplier may submit in lieu of supplying the minimum percentage of RECs required under Section 3.3.5 of this Regulation.

  • Alternative living arrangement means a structure in which households live in distinct bedrooms, yet share kitchen and plumbing facilities, central heat and common areas. Alternative living arrangements include, but are not limited to: transitional facilities for the homeless; Class A, B, C, D and E boarding homes as regulated by the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs; residential health care facilities as regulated by the New Jersey Department of Health; group homes for the developmentally disabled and mentally ill as licensed and/or regulated by the New Jersey Department of Human Services; and congregate living arrangements.

  • Standard Certificate means a credential issued to certify that an educator has the prescribed knowledge, skill or education to practice in a particular area, teach a particular subject, or teach a category of students.

  • Construction Service Agreement means either an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement or an Upgrade Construction Service Agreement.

  • Optional Deferral Provision means, as to any Qualifying Capital Securities, a provision in the terms thereof or of the related transaction agreements to the effect that:

  • ESG Pricing Provisions has the meaning specified in Section 2.18.

  • Interconnection Construction Service Agreement means the agreement entered into by an Interconnection Customer, Interconnected Transmission Owner and the Transmission Provider pursuant to Tariff, Part VI, Subpart B and in the form set forth in Tariff, Attachment P, relating to construction of Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, and/or Local Upgrades and coordination of the construction and interconnection of an associated Customer Facility. A separate Interconnection Construction Service Agreement will be executed with each Transmission Owner that is responsible for construction of any Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, or Local Upgrades associated with interconnection of a Customer Facility. Interconnection Customer:

  • Implementation Agreement means the Implementation Agreement dated ……… by and between the GOB, PGCB and the Company in connection with the Project, and also includes any amendment of it made from time to time;

  • Diversion agreement means a mechanism designed to hold a child accountable for his or her behavior and, if appropriate, securing services to serve the best interest of the child and to provide redress for that behavior without court action and without the creation of a formal court record;

  • Limited Condition Acquisition means any acquisition, including by means of a merger, amalgamation or consolidation, by the Company or one or more of its Restricted Subsidiaries, the consummation of which is not conditioned upon the availability of, or on obtaining, third party financing.

  • Separation and Distribution Agreement has the meaning set forth in the Recitals.

  • Mutual aid agreement means an agreement between the City and a town or other city for the City’s fire department to provide assistance to the fire department of a town or other city.

  • New Management Agreement means the management agreement to be entered into between Buyer and the Manager for the operation and management of the Hotel on and after the Closing Date.

  • Foundation Agreement means the agreement dated the 20th February 1985 made between the Trustee, the Manager, Xxxxxxxx, Genting WA and Tileska providing for the subscription of Units and Options;
