Your PCP Must Provide, Coordinate or Authorize All Medical Services. Except in an emergency or for certain obstetric and gynecological services, you are covered for the medical services below only if your PCP provides, coordinates or authorizes the services. You have the right to medical services provided in one of the following locations: • Your PCP’s office, • The office or facility of another provider if your PCP finds that the medical care from this provider of the facility is appropriate for the treatment of your condition; and • The outpatient department of a hospital. • As an inpatient in a hospital, you have a right to medical, surgical and anesthesia services.
