Years of Service Computation. All consecutive years of service, including periods of leave of absence at full salary and sabbatical leave, shall be counted in the determination of the time of mandatory tenure review. Periods of leave of absence at partial or no salary and partial years of service shall also be included unless exception is requested in writing by the bargaining unit member and approved at the time the leave is granted by the chancellor or chancellor's designee.
