Years of Experience In District and Freeze. In establishing credit for years of experience, a full-time employee employed initially at the beginning of the second semester shall receive a full year of credit on the salary schedule. An employee who was a part-time employee previously and employed at the beginning of the second semester will not advance on the salary schedule. In the event a tenured employee receives a year-end evaluation of unsatisfactory, is placed on an IDP, and thereafter fails to achieve a satisfactory evaluation under the IDP, the employee's salary shall be frozen for the next succeeding school year. A tenured employee whose salary has been frozen shall be annually evaluated. Once the employee's performance is evaluated as satisfactory, the employee shall resume progression on the salary schedule (by placement on the step where he/she would be without the freeze) effective upon commencement of the next school year.
