Common use of Workforce Program Clause in Contracts

Workforce Program. The Issuer has created a group consisting of the Wyandotte County Economic Development Council, Kansas City Kansas Community College, Workforce Partnership, the Kansas Department of Commerce and Kansas Manufacturing Solutions and members of the Wyandotte County Church Community (collectively the “Workforce Solutions Group”) to promote employment of residents of Wyandotte County at the Project. Company agrees to work with Issuer and the Workforce Solutions Group to create a (the “Workforce Program”) that will have as a goal that thirty-five percent (35%) of the total employment of the Project will be residents of Wyandotte County; the terms and provisions of the Workforce Program will be subject to the approval of the Company. Following the creation of the Workforce Program and approval of the Workforce Program by Company, Company hereby agrees to use best efforts to implement the Workforce Program. The Issuer and Company agree that failure to achieve the thirty-five percent (35%) goal stated above will not result in an Event of Default hereunder or an adjustment to the Tax Payments set forth herein.
