Common use of Where practical Clause in Contracts

Where practical. requests for Days Off will be awarded according to seniority, subject to the requirements and efficiency of operations, except that vacation periods and Training will be placed on the Flight Attendant’s schedule before any other Flight Attendant requests for Days Off are considered. Flight Attendants may only ask for five (5) Days Off at a time. Once all Flight Attendants have been awarded their first group of five (5) Days Off in order of seniority, they will be awarded their second requested group of five (5) Days Off. The Days Off do not have to be taken consecutively. Management may award a Day Off for special circumstances regardless of seniority.
