Welder. (a) The Welder shall when issued a specific job assume the role of a Welder and representative of the Employer and take the initiative to perform the work, according to the best practice of this industry. Where circumstances are beyond his or her control he or she shall immediately advise the Employer.
Welder. The duties of the Welder shall include, but not be limited to the welding and fabrication of detailed metal scenic elements. It is understood that minor metal fabrication/welding that includes fabricating simple hangers/fasteners, or cutting and assembling pipe and key clamp structures shall not require a welder if of limited scale.

He must be able to fabricate from a blueprint. He must assume responsibility for all work performed by himself or his assistants. He must be in possession of the necessary trade certificate. Welder. When a combination Electrician/Welder is requested, the Union shall supply same and the person so supplied shall be laid off no later than the completion of the Project originally hired for. Further, such person shall not be transferred to another Project.
Welder. Section 8. Labor Management Committee Effective no later than December 31, 1999, the Federation and the County agree to create a Labor Management Committee on incentives. The Labor Management Committee shall consist of three (3) representatives from the Union and three (3) from the County. The purpose of this Committee will be to identify job related incentives that will compensate employees for increased job related performance. The Committee will reduce their recommendations to writing, and in turn, will be submitted to the County Administrator and the Federation President for approval. Once approved by the County Administrator and the Federation President, the recommendations shall be implemented after the bargaining unit members have accepted and ratified the recommendations, and if necessary, acceptance by the County Commission.
Welder. An employee who is a journeyman and is engaged in performing all types of welding, fabrication, and the operation of metal shop tools. The employee shall be required to perform tool maintenance and repair work. The employee’s background of apprenticeship and experience shall be such as to qualify the employee to perform these duties with skill and efficiency. The employee shall be capable of performing the duties safely.
Welder. A set of leather protective gear will be provided for welders.
