We take precautions and abide by the Safety Procedures below. Formats may include: ● Photographs ● Videos ● Presentations - Parent Programs, Professional Development activities, fundraising, and newspaper ● Classroom or District Public Relations, Staff Blogs, Staff Webpages, Staff Facebook Pages Safety Procedures: ● Use only first names unless parent/guardian has submitted written permission. ● Personal information (full names, address, phone number, etc.) about students will not be included anywhere online. Web Publishing. A. The Xxxxxxxx County Schools’ web site (xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx) has been established as a dynamic forum to provide the community with information regarding Xxxxxxxx County Schools. It serves as a communication vehicle to publicize the goals, accomplishments, activities, and services of each school within our District. Intended audiences include: students, parents, employees, prospective employees, and the community at large. All content contained on the web site is consistent with the educational aims of our District. Through the Information Technology Department, the Xxxxxxxx County Department of Education provides web server space in the same manner as commercial Internet Service Providers (ISP) as a service to schools allowing them to publish *approved content to the Internet.
Web Publishing. The Xxxxxx City Schools' web site is limited to usage associated with activities of Xxxxxx City Schools. The web site cannot be used for personal financial gain, to express personal or political opinions, or to editorialize. The Technology Staff reserves the right to reject all or part of a proposed or posted web page.

In such cases, the student's parent/guardian or eligible student must give written consent (through the permission form above). ● Contingent upon receiving signed releases from the minor student's parent/guardian or from the student 18 years or older, student work may be published on the Lakeland School System website under the following guidelines: ● Grades K-8 - Authors of electronically published work may be identified only by first name. Schools may choose to let students adopt “net names.” ● Grades 9-12 - Authors of electronically published work may be identified by first and last name. ● All student work published must pertain to a class project, course, or other school-related activity.

Web Publishing. This includes any content posted on the Internet, including but not necessarily limited to websites, blogs, wikis, microblogs, instant messaging programs, podcasts, photo storage sites, and social networking sites. Anything placed on the web for public consumption falls under these guidelines. Any Internet posting will be for educational, non-commercial use, and all postings must have prior approval from teachers or system administrators. • Published content may include images, videos, and products of OHS students. This material may include videos of class activities, art, writing, and student-produced content. The school's policy is to post these to protected sites and forums accessible only by the student, their parents, and OHS faculty. Misuse of this access by parents or students violates our acceptable use policy. By accepting this contract, the parent acknowledges the school's right to such publishing. • Only post appropriate pictures, videos, or other forms of electronic media or software. • The school uses web-publishing tools as a forum for expression. However, such tools are designed for learning, and as such, they will sometimes be constrained by classroom teachers' various requirements and rules. In these forums, students are welcome to post on any school-appropriate subject. • Use web publishing tools to share creative expression with authentic audiences. Most visitors who comment will leave respectful, helpful messages. Students who receive uncomfortable or disrespectful comments should tell a teacher right away. Students should not respond to posted comments. Honesty While Online Students understand that masquerading, spoofing, or pretending to be someone else is forbidden. This behavior includes but is not limited to sending out emails, creating accounts, or posting messages or other online content (e.g., text, images, audio, or video) acting as another person or using another person's account.

  • Approval for Publishing The Author shall proofread the page proofs for the Contribution provided by or on behalf of the Publisher, including checking the illustrations as well as any media, social or functional enhancements and give approval for publishing, if and when requested by the Publisher. The Author’s approval for publishing is deemed to have been given if the Author does not respond within a reasonable period of time (as determined by the Publisher) after receiving the proofs nor contacts the Publisher within three days after receipt of the last of three reminders sent by the Publisher via email. The Publisher shall not be required to send a second set of corrected proofs unless specifically requested by the Author in writing but in any event no further amendments may be made or requested by the Author. In the event of co-authors having entered into this Agreement the Publisher shall send the page proofs to the Corresponding Author only and all persons entering into this Agreement as Author agree that the Corresponding Author shall correct and approve the page proofs on their behalf. If the Author makes changes other than correcting typographical errors, the Author shall bear all the Publisher's costs of such alterations to proofs including without limitation to alterations to pictorial illustrations. The Publisher shall have the right to charge and invoice these costs plus value added or similar taxes (if applicable) through its affiliated company Springer Nature Customer Service Center GmbH or Springer Nature Customer Service Center LLC, respectively, to the Author, payable within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.

  • Metadata Bibliographical, structural & descriptive data of the Licensed Material as defined in Schedule 5.

  • MPS LOGO/PUBLICITY No Contractor shall use the MPS Logo in its literature or issue a press release about the subject of this Contract without prior written notice to and written approval of MPS’s Executive Director of Communications & Outreach.

  • PUBLICATION AND PUBLICITY The CONSULTANT agrees that it shall not for any reason whatsoever communicate to any third party in any manner whatsoever concerning any of its CONTRACT work product, its conduct under the CONTRACT, the results or data gathered or processed under this CONTRACT, which includes, but is not limited to, reports, computer information and access, drawings, studies, notes, maps and other data prepared by and for the CONSULTANT under the terms of this CONTRACT, without prior written approval from the COMMISSION, unless such release or disclosure is required by judicial proceeding.   • DELIVERY AND PUBLISHING 4.1. Xxxxxxx Science offers publishing via a variety of methods. The parties agree that, at a minimum, and subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Work shall be published in the subscription journal specified, in Schedule 3: Publishing. Additionally, if so specified in the space provided in Schedule 3: Publishing in respect of “Open Access Plus”, and subject to the commercial terms specified therein and the other terms of this Agreement, the Work shall be made available, by Xxxxxxx Science, on an open access basis under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC- BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at: xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode .

  • Information and Publicity 1. The LP undertakes to fulfil the information and publicity measures set out in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1303/2013, and in the information and publicity guidelines included the Implementation Manual, the Visual Identity Manual for projects and the Communication toolkit of the Danube Transnational Programme with the aim to promote the fact that financing is provided from the European Union Funds in the framework of the Danube Transnational Programme and to ensure the adequate promotion of the project.

  • Marketing and Publicity Each party may use the other party’s Brand Features in connection with the Agreement as permitted in the Agreement. Customer may state publicly that it is a Google customer and display Google Brand Features in accordance with the Trademark Guidelines. Customer and Google will work together on an announcement of Customer being a Google customer, which will take place on a mutually agreed upon date within 6 months of the Effective Date. Additionally, with prior written consent, the parties may engage in joint marketing activities such as customer testimonials, announcements, press engagements, public speaking events, and analyst interviews. A party may revoke the other party’s right to use its Brand Features with 30 days’ written notice. Any use of a party’s Brand Features will inure to the benefit of the party holding Intellectual Property Rights to those Brand Features.
