Common use of Warranted Reclassifications Clause in Contracts

Warranted Reclassifications. Upon review of the factors below, the Reclassification Committee may determine that the reclassification of a position may be warranted: a. If there is a significant permanent change in the actual duties and/or the level of the responsibility of one or more job areas; OR b. There has been a gradual accretion of new duties over a period of time. An increase in workload does not warrant a reclassification; OR c. If it is determined that the position was originally under-classified (including job duties and salary in comparison with the overall classification plan in the District).
