Any of the above specifications may be waived by mutual agreement, confirmed in writing, between the University, the academic staff member, and the Faculty Association, such as acceptance of an application for a sabbatical for six months at 100 per cent of salary in place of a sabbatical for twelve months at 80 per cent of salary.
