The VSP (Volume Sales Pricing) clause establishes a pricing structure based on the quantity of goods or services purchased. Typically, this clause sets out specific price points or discounts that apply when a buyer reaches certain volume thresholds within a defined period. For example, a buyer may receive a lower unit price if they purchase more than 1,000 units in a year. The core function of the VSP clause is to incentivize higher purchase volumes by offering cost savings, thereby benefiting both the seller, through increased sales, and the buyer, through reduced pricing.
VSP. The Hospitals will continue to provide the existing Vision Service Plan (VSP) (or equivalent plan) through the term of this Agreement.
VSP. For calendar year 2015 and for subsequent calendar years during the term of this Agreement, Employees may elect to participate in vision benefit plans offered by VSP in lieu of the City’s vision plan subject to the following conditions: 1. An Employee who participates in VSP may not concurrently participate in any City vision plan. 2. For each Employee who elects to be covered by VSP, the City will make a monthly contribution to VSP that is equal to the the City’s pro rata contribution under the Heritage vision plan in the corresponding coverage tier (e.g. single, two person, family). Under no circumstances will the City’s monthly contribution to VSP exceed the City’s monthly contribution for coverage under the lowest cost City plan for the applicable coverage tier. 3. The City will have no obligations in connection with VSP other than to make the payments described in this Section C. Specifically, the City will not have any administrative involvement whatsoever in connection with employee participation in VSP, and any employee participating in VSP will be responsible for paying any additional monthly premium payments beyond the City’s monthly contribution pursuant to Section C.2 of this Article directly to VSP. Under no circumstances will the City be deemed to be an administrator or fiduciary with respect to any medical plans provided by VSP. 4. The Union agrees to indemnify the City, and hold the City harmless, against any and all claims asserted by employees or third parties against the City or any of its elected or appointed officials, employees, agents, attorneys, or consultants that are in any way related to or connected with employee participation in VSP, any vision plans offered by VSP, including but not limited to any claims for benefits provided to, or denied, City employees by VSP, as well as any and all claims that are in any way related to any acts or omissions by VSP, or its officers, directors, trustees, employees, or agents
VSP. The plan covers the reasonable charge of participating providers subject to a $5.00 co-pay for an eye examination and a combined co-pay of $10.00 for lenses and frames or contact lenses. It allows for one eye examination, lenses and/or frames or medically necessary contact lenses once every 12 months. Maximum payment on contact lenses is $105.00. A progressive lenses rider is also included in the plan.

  • Childcare 8.1. One third credit shall be given where a teacher resigns or takes leave from the New Zealand teaching service in order to care for her/his own children provided that the teacher was a certificated teacher (or equivalent) at the time of resigning or taking leave, otherwise no credit will be given.

  • Community Based Adult Intensive Service (AIS) and Child and Family Intensive Treatment (CFIT) – AIS/CFIT programs offer services primarily based in the home and community for qualifying adults and children with moderate- to-severe mental health conditions. These programs consist at a minimum of ongoing emergency/crisis evaluations, psychiatric assessment, medication evaluation and management, case management, psychiatric nursing services, and individual, group, and family therapy. This plan covers individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and family therapy when rendered by: • Psychiatrists; • Licensed Clinical Psychologists; • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers; • Advance Practice Registered Nurses (Clinical Nurse Specialists/Nurse Practitioners- Behavioral Health); • Licensed Mental Health Counselors; and • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. This plan covers psychological testing as a behavioral health benefit when rendered by: • neuropsychologists; • psychologists; or • pediatric neurodevelopmental specialists. This plan covers neuropsychological testing as described in the Tests, Labs and Imaging section.

  • Multi-Storey Allowance (a) In addition to the wage rates and site allowances provided in this Agreement, Multi-Storey Allowance will be applicable in accordance with clause 23.3 of the Award. The applicable rate for Multi-Storey Allowance shall be as follows: (b) As at 1 March 2024: From the commencement of building to 15th floor level $0.70 per hour From the 16th floor level to 30th floor level $0.82 per hour From the 31st floor level to 45th floor level $1.27 per hour From the 46th floor level to 60th floor level $1.65 per hour From the 61st floor level onward $2.00 per hour (c) Multi-Storey Allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve-month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March from 2025 onwards, rounded to the nearest cent.

  • Cafeteria (a) As part of Landlord’s Work, Landlord shall construct a team member cafeteria (the “Cafeteria”) in the area designated for the Cafeteria on Exhibit “A” attached hereto for use by Tenant and Tenant’s employees and guests. Landlord shall bear the cost of constructing the Cafeteria and the Tenant Allowance shall be charged [***] in connection therewith. During the term of this Lease, the Cafeteria is to be operated as a cafeteria for the Building’s occupants. The Cafeteria shall remain under ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s control The Cafeteria shall be operated as a sit-down, cafeteria style food service operation offering succulent food during the hours of 7:00 am-10:00 am (breakfast) and 11:00 am-l:30 pm (lunch); provided, the hours of operation and prices charged in the Cafeteria are subject to change so long as such hours of operation are consistent with other similar cafeterias operated in Class A office buildings in the general geographic area of the Development and the Cafeteria operates for breakfast and lunch Monday through and including Friday. (b) As long as the Cafeteria is and remains fully operational by Landlord and is operated in a manner consistent with other similar cafeterias operated in Class A office buildings in the general geographic area of the Development and the Cafeteria operates for breakfast and lunch Monday through and including Friday as otherwise provided in this Lease, Tenant shall make an annual contribution to the operation of the Cafeteria in an amount equal to the annual actual cash losses incurred in connection with operation of the Cafeteria during such calendar year and assuming only market rate fees are charged in an amount not to exceed fifty cents ($0.50) per rentable square foot of the Premises per year (exclusive of the rentable square footage of those portions of Premises which are within the Cafeteria) (currently, [***] per annum prorated for partial months of Cafeteria operation (“Cafeteria Losses”). Within ninety (90) days after the close of each calendar year, or as soon after such ninety (90) day period as practicable, Landlord shall deliver to Tenant a statement prepared by Landlord of Cafeteria Losses for such calendar year and Tenant shall pay the Cafeteria Losses within thirty (30) days after receipt of such statement. If this Lease shall terminate on a day other than the last day of a calendar year, ▇▇▇▇▇▇’s share of the Cafeteria Losses that are applicable to the calendar year in which such termination shall occur shall be prorated on the basis of the number of calendar days within such year as are within the term of this Lease. For a period of two (2) years after delivery of each such statement to which such records relate, Tenant shall have the right upon thirty (30) days’ prior written notice to Landlord to inspect Landlord’s records relating to Cafeteria Losses. Such inspection shall be conducted at Landlord’s offices during normal business hours at Tenant’s expense. Such inspection may not be conducted by a person or firm compensated on a contingent fee basis. If such inspection shall disclose that Tenant has paid five percent (5%) or more in excess of that required to be paid hereunder and Landlord shall accept such determination, which acceptance shall not be unreasonably withheld, Landlord shall reimburse Tenant for the reasonable cost of such inspection. Tenant shall have no right to offset the amount of any overpayment unless Landlord shall accept such determination. If Landlord and Tenant do not agree on any overpayment or underpayment within thirty (30) days, either Landlord or Tenant may cause an independent Big Four accountant firm to resolve the dispute, whose determination shall be binding on Landlord and Tenant and the fees shall be split equally between Landlord and Tenant. (c) Notwithstanding the foregoing or anything else to the contrary (i) if Landlord desires to cease operating the Cafeteria Landlord shall provide Tenant at least ninety (90) days notice prior to the date Landlord ceases operating the Cafeteria, and (ii) if Landlord ceases operating the Cafeteria, Tenant may at any time and from time to time, take over the operation of the Cafeteria (or cause one (1) or more operator(s) to take over operation of the Cafeteria) and in such event, Tenant may, for the remainder of the Term, use and/or operate the Cafeteria and the equipment and other items which are located in the Cafeteria at the time the Cafeteria initially opens for business at no cost to Tenant for space or equipment, but, in such event, Tenant shall pay the direct costs of operating the Cafeteria which shall include and be limited to any personal property tax applicable to the equipment and personal property used in the operation of the Cafeteria utilities and janitorial and in such event, Tenant (A) may offset all such costs incurred by Tenant in connection therewith, against the next due installments of Basic Rental and all additional rent payable hereunder, and (B) shall not be required to pay the Cafeteria Losses. Landlord represents and warrants that it owns all of the equipment and other items to be located in the Cafeteria at the time the Cafeteria initially opens for business free and clear of any encumbrance or other superior right.

  • Ambulance Escort Where a nurse is assigned to provide patient care for a patient in transit, the following provisions shall apply: i) Where a full-time nurse performs such duties during her or his regular shift, the full-time nurse shall be paid her or his regular rate of pay. Where a full-time nurse performs such duties outside her or his regular shift or on a day off, she or he shall be paid the appropriate overtime rate. ii) Where a part-time nurse performs such duties during an assigned shift, she or he shall be paid her or his regular rate of pay. Where a part-time nurse continues to perform such duties in excess of her or his assigned shift, she or he shall be paid the appropriate overtime rate. (b) Where such duties extend beyond the nurse's regular shift, the Hospital will not require the nurse to return to regular duties at the hospital without at least eight (8) hours of time off. Where such time off extends into the nurse's next regularly scheduled shift she or he will maintain her or his regular earnings for that full shift. (c) Hours spent between the time the nurse is relieved of patient care responsibilities and the time the nurse returns to the hospital or to such other location agreed upon between the Hospital and the nurse will be paid at straight time or at appropriate overtime rates, if applicable under Article 14. 01. It is understood that the nurse shall return to the hospital or to such other location agreed upon between the Hospital and the nurse at the earliest opportunity. Prior to the nurse's departure on escort duty, or at such other time as may be mutually agreed upon between the Hospital and the nurse, the Hospital will establish with the nurse arrangements for return travel. (d) The nurse shall be reimbursed for reasonable out of pocket expenses including room, board and return transportation and consideration will be given to any special circumstances not dealt with under the foregoing provisions. NOTE 1: (Note 1 applies to full-time nurses only) The Hospital agrees to continue to pay any greater monetary benefit for ambulance escort duty if such greater benefit has been paid by the Hospital immediately prior to this Agreement. This note applies at Hospitals where this superior condition exists as of December 14, 1987. NOTE 2: (Note 2 applies to part-time nurses only) The Hospital agrees to continue to pay any greater monetary benefit for ambulance escort duty if such greater benefit was paid by the Hospital under a Collective Agreement immediately prior to this Agreement. This note applies at Hospitals where this superior condition exists as of December 14, 1987.
