Vacation Treatment to Sick Employees. A. An employee with 6 months or more of seniority who is granted a sickness leave of absence before his/her vacation is completed shall be granted pay in lieu of such vacation as he/she was otherwise entitled to receive during the remainder of the current calendar year, except that an employee who has not completed 12 months of seniority is not entitled to the second week of such vacation until after the completion of 12 months of seniority.
