Vacation Selection Process. Subject to coverage and concerns related to resident care, vacation shall be granted amongst Bargaining Unit staff as noted below; If all employees have not received their requested summer vacation and there is still summer vacation time available, it will again be assigned based upon seniority. The vacation schedule will be posted by May 1 of each year. Vacations requests thereafter will be granted on a first come, first served basis if service requirements can be met. Vacation will not normally be granted during the Christmas - New Year’s period from December 20th to January 5th of each year.
