Unit Member Transfer to Another Unit Position. Unit members transferring to another unit position through the hiring process or a reclassification will maintain their service date in relation to any leave/vacation benefits. Such unit members will be treated as new unit members in relationship to notice requirements regarding renewal or non-renewal of appointment, unless credit for prior service to the College is granted or otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties at the time of hire or reclassification.
