EMPLOYEE RIGHTS AND PROTECTION A. Nothing contained within this Agreement shall be construed to deny or restrict to any employee rights he/she may have under the Michigan School Laws or the applicable laws and regulations. The rights granted to employees hereunder shall be deemed to be in addition to those provided elsewhere.
EMPLOYEE RIGHTS The County shall not hinder or discipline an employee for exercising any rights or benefits provided in the Memorandum of Understanding.
Employment of Consultants Part A: General Consultants’ services shall be procured in accordance with the provisions of the Introduction and Section IV of the “Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers” published by the Bank in January 1997 and revised in September 1997 and January 1999 (the Consultant Guidelines) and the following provisions of Section II of this Schedule. Labor and Employee Relations (i) (A) None of the employees of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries is represented in his or her capacity as an employee of such company by any labor organization; (B) neither the Company nor any of its Subsidiaries has recognized any labor organization nor has any labor organization been elected as the collective bargaining agent of any of their employees, nor has the Company or any of its Subsidiaries signed any collective bargaining agreement or union contract recognizing any labor organization as the bargaining agent of any of their employees; and (C) to the Knowledge of the Company, there is no active or current union organization activity involving the employees of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries, nor has there ever been union representation involving employees of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act The Charter School is subject to all provisions of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g. In the event the Charter School closes, it shall transmit all official student records in the manner prescribed by the State Board.

Returning Employee Rights Employees returning from authorized leave without pay will be employed in the same position or in another position in the same job classification, as determined by the Employer, provided that such reemployment is not in conflict with other articles in this Agreement. The employee and the Employer may enter into a written agreement regarding return rights at the commencement of the leave.
Employee Protection Nothing in this Agreement or otherwise limits Executive’s ability to communicate directly with and provide information, including documents, not otherwise protected from disclosure by any applicable law or privilege to the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), any other federal, state or local governmental agency or commission (“Government Agency”) or self-regulatory organization regarding possible legal violations, without disclosure to the Company. The Company may not retaliate against Executive for any of these activities, and nothing in this Agreement or otherwise requires Executive to waive any monetary award or other payment that Executive might become entitled to from the SEC or any other Government Agency or self-regulatory organization.
ASSOCIATION AND EMPLOYEE RIGHTS A. The exclusive Representative ("Association") shall have the right to represent its members in employment relations with the District.
