UNION SECURITY AND DEDUCTION OF DUES. 4.01 All employees covered by this Agreement who are members in good standing of the Union in accordance with its Constitution and By-laws and all employees who become members, shall as a condition of employment maintain their membership in the Union in good standing. The Company shall be free to hire new employees who are not members of the Union and such employees shall make application within ten (10) days after employment and become members within thirty (30) days.

The Company will notify the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx, or their designee, within one (1) week, in writing, when an associate quits or is terminated.
