Union Response to Employer Notification. A. The Union will have twenty (20) calendar days from the date of the notification in which to submit a letter of intent to submit a written proposal to the proposed contracting out of bargaining unit work. If the Union fails to send to the Municipal Administrator a written letter of intent under this paragraph within the twenty (20) calendar days from the date of the notification, the Employer may proceed to issue the RFP seeking bids on the proposed contracted out work.
