Uniform Issue. The Employer and the Union agree to amend the Letter of Understanding regarding a uniform point system dated January 8, 2001, as follows: Either party may terminate this Letter of Understanding prior to October in any year for uniform issue in the following year. Article VIII, Clothing, Section 1: Uniform Issue of the current and subsequent collective agreements shall be replaced by this Letter of Understanding as long as it is in effect. Initial issue shall be allotted after completion of the probationary period. White Rock Fire Department members agree to complete and maintain the required Uniform Kit as indicated. The Fire Chief may require inspection of Uniform Kit prior to acceptance of orders for non‐Kit items. The Joint Uniform Committee shall meet on a regular basis to review the process and to discuss items for deletion or addition to the appropriate listings. See attached Schedule A – Terms of Reference for Uniform Committee. Each eligible Fire Department member will select uniform issue on the point system as agreed and modified by the Joint Uniform Committee.
