Common use of Uniform Issue Clause in Contracts

Uniform Issue. 27.1. As well as appropriate OH&S equipment, all employees shall be provided at no cost with 3 shirts, 2 pairs of pants or overalls, 1 jacket and 1 hat/beanie, after I months continuous service. In the case of production staff, Production Supervisors will offer the choice of company maintained overalls or disposable outfits only if a specific task undertaken is excessively dirty. The laundry allowance per shift is listed in Clause 11.2. 27.2. Items will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis at the discretion of the supervisor/manager. 27.3. Maintenance personnel will be provided with 5 pairs of overalls. These overalls will be maintained by the company. Thus, no allowance for laundry uniforms will be provided in this case. 27.4. Uniform issue does not apply to casual employees.
