Common use of Unavailable for Work Clause in Contracts

Unavailable for Work. When an Employee is scheduled to work and is unavailable because of illness, he/she shall give reasonable notification to the Chief of Police or Officer in Charge as soon as possible of his/her unavailability. The Employee is expected to provide an estimated date of his/her return to work and is required to update the Chief or the Officer in Charge of any change in status.
