Common use of Types of Insurance Clause in Contracts

Types of Insurance. The Contractor shall procure and maintain the following types of insurance if, and as indicated in, Schedule A (with the minimum limits and special conditions specified in Schedule A). Such insurance shall be maintained from the date the Contractor is required to provide Proof of Insurance pursuant to Article 46.3 through the date of completion of all required Work. All insurance shall meet the requirements set forth in this Article. Wherever this Article requires that insurance coverage be “at least as broad” as a specified form (including all ISO forms), there is no obligation that the form itself be used, provided that the Contractor can demonstrate that the alternative form or endorsement contained in its policy provides coverage at least as broad as the specified form.
