TRANSITION TO CONSTABLE POSITION. 48.4.1 A Cadet member who has successfully performed (as described below) during his/her contract period(s) shall have first preference for hiring as a Cadet Officer in Training, and subsequently as Fourth Class Police Constable, subject to the approval of the Board and the Chief of Police.
