Common use of Transit Operator Clause in Contracts

Transit Operator. A benefited employee who is regularly scheduled to work a minimum of twenty-seven (27) hours to a maximum of forty (40) hours per week in the operation of a fixed route transit vehicle. Where used, Full-time Operator refers to Operators who have bid 32 to 40 hour per week assignments, and Part-time Operator refers to Operators who have bid 27 to 31.9 hour per week assignments
