All vacancies and/or newly-created positions within the bargaining unit shall be posted on the Personnel Office bulletin board within not less than fourteen (14) calendar days of the date the vacancy will be filled. All vacancies or newly-created positions within the bargaining unit shall be filled on the basis of qualifications. All vacancies will be posted for a minimum period of fourteen (14) calendar days posting period. A copy of the posting shall be provided to the XXX president. It shall be the responsibility of XXX to provide notice of the posting to its membership.
