Transfers Involving Change of Domicile. All transfers or reassignments requiring a change of domicile shall be voluntary if the duration is greater than three (3) months. Where an employee refuses such a transfer or reassignment and the employee’s current position no longer exists, Article 22 (redeployment or layoff) will apply.

Where an employee refuses such a transfer or reassignment and the employee’s current position no longer exists, Article 22 (redeployment or layoff) will apply. For clarity, such employees will be eligible for assignment conditions provided they qualify.
