Common use of Trailer Premium Clause in Contracts

Trailer Premium. (a) When an employee operates a truck with a trailer attached, such employee shall receive a bonus equal to thirty cents (30¢) per hour for the period the employee is in charge of such combination with a minimum of four (4) hours per shift. For the purposes of this section, a trailer is defined as one with a load factor in excess of six (6) tons in service.
