Common use of Third Shift Clause in Contracts

Third Shift. The third shift shall consist of six (6) hours provided that the employee shall be permitted thirty (30) minutes for meals. Pay for a full third shift period shall be a sum equal to seven (7) times the regular hourly rate as set forth in Article V plus fifteen percent (15%). This percentage is to be calculated using the gross taxable wage prior to any 401(A) deductions.
