Termination/Layoff. The Employer shall notify employees who are to be permanently laid off in accordance with the following schedule: Up to four (4) years of service 4 weeks More than four (4) years of service 1 week for each year of service to a maximum of 26 weeks If an employee to be laid off has not had the opportunity to work the number of days as outlined in the schedule, the employee shall be paid in lieu of that part of the notice required in the schedule for which work was not available.
