Common use of TERM SERVICE Clause in Contracts

TERM SERVICE. An employee whose regular employment status was broken by service in a limited term capacity, but who regained regular status with a break in service of three (3) days or less shall be entitled to a vacation accrual rate as if there had not been such limited term employment. Such adjusted accrual rates shall be effective with the implementation of this agreement, with no retroactive accruals provided. Sec. 1208 COORDINATION WITH DISABILITY BENEFITS: Eligible employees, subsequent to exhausting all accumulated sick leave hours as per Section 1404, may use accrued vacation hours in conjunction with State Disability Insurance in order to receive an amount equal to the biweekly rate of pay the employee would have otherwise received had he actually worked their normal schedule.
