Common use of Temporary Transfer Clause in Contracts

Temporary Transfer. 22.10 In the selection of an employee for temporary transfer, where the employee is required by the Company to remain away from his home for a period which is expected by the Company to be in excess of two weeks, the Company will give first consideration to the most senior employee who will volunteer from the functional group in the seniority unit at the reporting centre from which the transfer is to be made, and who has the necessary qualifications, providing the remaining employees at his reporting centre have the necessary qualifications to do the work remaining.
