SUSPENSION OF OPERATIONS AND TERMINATION OF CONTRACT. All or any part of the operations on the sale area, including the removal of felled timber, may be suspended upon written notice by District Forester if any condition or requirement contained in this contract is disregarded by Buyer. Failure of Buyer to comply with any one of said conditions or requirements shall be sufficient cause for the termination of this contract by the Department. In the event of such termination, Buyer shall be liable for any damages sustained by the Department arising from Xxxxx’s operations hereunder and the Department may declare the Buyer ineligible to purchase State Forest timber.

In addition, the University shall have the right to terminate this contract, for any reason or no reason at all, upon thirty (30) days written notice to Buyer.
