Forest Manager definition

Forest Manager means the person/corporate body named as such in the Fifth Schedule who is authorised by the Vendor to act as Forest Manager on their behalf on matters relating to this Agreement;
Forest Manager wherever used in this contract refers to the Forest Manager who is under the direct supervision of the Director, and who has been designated by him to supervise this sale.
Forest Manager means the organisation with responsibility for managing the Permanent Timber Production Zone Land. Funding Schedule for the purposes of this agreement means those funding initiatives identified by ENGO and Industry signatories respectively, to support the implementation of this agreement. Future Reserve Land means land placed under a Protection Order by the Tasmanian Parliament, pending formal gazettal. High quality sawlog means sawlogs classified as Category 1 and Category 3 in Schedule 1 of the Tasmanian Parliament’s Forestry Regulations 2009. Low quality sawlog for the purposes of this agreement means sawlogs classified as Category 2 and Category 8 under the current Forestry Tasmania classification system as at 24 October 2012. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ wood for the purposes of this agreement means logs suitable for processing by existing rotary ▇▇▇▇▇▇ veneer facilities in Tasmania.

  • Buyer shall, in advance of such hauling or skidding, furnish the Forest Manager with a copy of said approval secured from each right-of-way owner or lessee.

  • Skidding across live or intermittent streams is prohibited except over bridges or culverts that are approved by the Forest Manager.

  • Forest management plan means a written plan prepared and signed by a qualified forester that prescribes measures to optimize production, utilization, regeneration, and harvest of timber. The forest management plan shall include a schedule and timetables for the various silvicultural practices used on forestlands, which shall be a maximum of 20 years in length. A forest management plan shall include all of the following:

  • Airport Manager means any individual who is properly appointed and designated by the airport owner as the airport manager, and who is responsible for the supervision and operation of the airport to the airport owner.
