Supplementary Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan. Subject to the continuing approval of Revenue Canada, the Company agrees to establish a Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan that will provide the following: Upon ratification and for the life of this Agreement, the Company shall be liable for an amount equal to $700,000 which shall be utilized to provide a benefit of $600 per week for each of the first two weeks during which the employee is laid-off and for which he is not entitled to receive an Employment Insurance benefit and, thereafter, $120 per week for each week in which the laid-off employee receives an Employment Insurance benefit.
