Summer Professional Development Sample Clauses
The 'Summer Professional Development' clause establishes requirements or opportunities for employees to participate in training or educational activities during the summer period. Typically, this clause outlines the types of professional development activities that are eligible, such as workshops, courses, or conferences, and may specify whether participation is mandatory or voluntary, as well as any reimbursement or credit policies. Summer Professional Development. 1. Summer professional development shall include, but not be limited to, e-learning summer instruction and curriculum development work.
2. Association members shall be paid $150 for attending a full day session, and $75 for attending a half-day session.
Summer Professional Development. Summer professional development may not be required unless held within the week immediately prior to (August) or immediately after (June) the contract year. If required, attendance at such professional development will be paid at committee pay rate (minimum).

Administrators who attend professional development activities and/or conferences approved by central administration during the summer will receive compensation based on a rate of $50.00 per day. If the Superintendent of Schools requests that an administrator work beyond their scheduled work calendar there will be a mutual calendar adjustment to compensate which may be carried over to another year only if there is no way to accommodate a change in the current work year.
Summer Professional Development. Conscious Discipline shall provide two (2) trainers to conduct two (2) four (4)-day trainings in the summer of 2021. Professional Development will deepen participant knowledge and ability to apply concepts, skills, and strategies relating to the brain states and the seven powers of Conscious Discipline. Summer Professional Development will also provide assistance in creating implementation plans for the 2021-2022 school year.
