Common use of Storm Drain Structures Clause in Contracts

Storm Drain Structures. This bid item shall be paid on a unit basis. Storm drain structures shall be counted individually, including manholes, flared end section, end wall, drop inlets, curb inlets and proprietary water quality devices. The unit price shall include the cost of excavating and disposal of material, furnishing and installing the structure along with bedding and backfill material. The unit price for each structure shall also include grading around storm drain structures, labor and material for reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) to concrete structure connections, connecting existing pipe to new structure, concrete gutter in front of structure, and any required accessories such as inlet shaping and core- drilling.
