Buildings and Structures. 1. Interior Work: Floors, Walls, Stairs, Ceilings and Trim a. In-kind repair and replacement of floors, walls, stairs, ceilings, and/or trim. The allowance does not apply to decorative finishes, including murals, glazed paint, gold leaf, or ornamental plaster. b. Interior cleaning of surfaces using a weak solution of household bleach and water, mold remediation, or mold removal. The allowance applies to interior finishes, including plaster and wallboard, provided the cleaning is restricted to damaged areas and does not affect adjacent materials. c. Non-destructive or concealed testing for hazardous materials (e.g., lead paint, asbestos) or for assessment of hidden damages.

Installation of security bars over windows on rear elevations. 5. Installation of exterior security features and early warning devices on existing light poles or other permanent utilities. 6. Substantially in-kind repair or replacement of metal, wooden or masonry utilitarian structures (e.g., pump houses, flag poles, bleachers, dugouts, concession stands, etc.), including major exposed pipelines. Modern materials may be used, provided their finish is compatible with the context of the site. Structures such as bridges, water towers, and antenna towers are not considered metal utilitarian structures for the purposes of this allowance. 7. Residential safe rooms constructed within the footprint of a residence currently being built or within any building less than 45 years old.
Buildings and Structures. 8.1 The Tenant shall not without the written consent of the Council erect any building or pond on the Allotment Garden, provided that consent shall not be refused under this clause for the erection of any building reasonably necessary for the purpose of keeping rabbits or hens or be unreasonably withheld for the erection of a garden shed, greenhouse or polytunnel the maximum size and positioning of which shall be determined by the Council. The Tenant may also require permission from the relevant planning authority. 8.2 Glass substitutes such as polycarbonate, perspex or other alternatives may be used in any permitted structures. 8.3 The Tenant shall keep all sheds, greenhouses, polytunnels and other structures in good repair to the satisfaction of the Council. 8.4 Oil, fuel, lubricants or other inflammable liquids shall not be stored in any shed except in an approved container with a maximum capacity of 5 litres for use with garden equipment only. 8.5 The Council will not be held responsible for loss by accident, fire, theft or damage from Allotment Garden.

Tenants with key access are responsible for keeping the shed locked. 2.3 Tenants requiring access to the shed will need to pay a deposit of £5.00 for a shed key. 2.4 There will be a charge for lost keys. 2.5 No individual sheds or structures are to be erected. 2.6 Oil, fuel and lubricants or other inflammable liquids shall not be stored in any structure on site. 2.7 The Tenant may keep tools in a wooden or plastic storage box on the Allotment. The storage box must not exceed 6ft in width and 3ft in height. The box shall be kept shut when not in use and must be a colour which blends with the surroundings. The box and contents are the sole responsibility of the Tenant. 2.8 Polytunnels are not permitted, however small fruit cages are permitted but must not exceed 4ft in height and 3ft in width. 2.9 Hard landscaping including patio and concrete etc to build internal paths are not permitted unless used as a base for composting bins. Internal paths must not exceed 10% of the Allotment. 2.10 Water butts are permitted. Maximum one per Allotment. 2.11 Raised beds are permitted but must be made from wood only and must not exceed 40cm in height.
