Common use of Step Two The Union Representative or Representatives Clause in Contracts

Step Two The Union Representative or Representatives. may take the matter up with the Company official designated by the Company to handle Labour Relations matters. If the matter is not taken up within ten (10) working days of the date the Union received written reply to the grievance in Step One, it will be deemed to have been abandoned and further recourse to the grievance procedure shall be forfeited. The designated Company official shall respond to the grievance in writing, within seven (7) working days of receipt of the grievance at Step Two.
