Step I. Any officer or the Association claiming a breach of any specific provision of this Contract may refer the matter in writing to the officer’s immediate supervisor outside the bargaining unit. This grievance shall be presented within twenty (20) calendar days from the earliest date that either the employee or the Association (by an Association officer, xxxxxxx, or other representative) knew or reasonably should have known of the alleged violation.
